About us

National Sun Yat-sen University, which has established a strong alumni network, retains a high academic reputation not only within Taiwan but also in Asia. The Department of Business Management was created in 1980 in response to the trends toward internationalization in business and related academic development. The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program with a focus on management was established by the Department of Business Management in 2017.

Our department has considerable academic resources to make the steady foundation of business knowledge. The comprehensive courses offered by our experienced professors provide a perfect environment for those interested in the advances on business management.

Our major courses, which include the advanced quantitative methods, advanced management theory, advanced business research methods, and microeconomic analysis, are taught in Taiwanese Mandarin and English, considering the emerging educational needs for international competitiveness. Students also have the opportunities to undertake other professional courses relevant to their research fields. Besides, some of the courses involve teamwork projects, training students to work together as a team with efficient communication and cooperation skills.
